Coffee and Walnut Smoothie - Nostalgia in a glass!
I have a nostagic feeling whenever I hear 'coffee and walnut'. I remember my Mum always loved coffee and walnut cake when I was a child and I also grew to love the classic flavour combo. But having given up coffee some years ago I haven't tasted it in quite a while - until I discovered Whole Earth's coffee alternative. It really does taste like coffee but has no caffeine and includes chicory in the blend - great for digestion. This recipe has now become one of my all-time favourites! Jane x
Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup Sweet Revolution Organic & Vegan Coconut Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup walnuts (soaked for a couple of hours, or overnight)
- 1 tsp Whole Earth Organic No Caf Coffee Alternative
Method:
1. Place all the ingredients in a blender (a Vitamix is great as it creates a lovely creamy texture)
2. Blitz until smooth
3. Serve and enjoy!
