Jane Nicholls launched Sweet Revolution after experimenting in the kitchen to create nutritioustreats for her two teenage children. She launched her company with a range of raw chocolate products in October 2009.
Jane has had a life-long interest in healthy eating, which was further fuelled when her son Alex had a dairy intolerance as a baby. She began researching natural ways to treat the condition and became fascinated with the subject. This led her to study naturopathic nutrition with the Natural Healing Foundation at Salford University. During her studies she was introduced to many different and unusual foods. She began experimenting in the kitchen to satisfy her family's passion for sweets and puddings, without sacrificing her commitment to good nutrition.
Initially launching with a range of raw chocolate bars, the business has slowly grown and diversified into organic instant drinks. Currently the range consists of six lattes - Beetroot, Chicory, Matcha, Reishi Chai and Turmeric Lattes and a Hot Chocolate using raw cacao. The range has been a huge success, tapping into the trend for organic, vegan and free from alternatives. With her love of creating delicious recipes, Jane is always looking at new and innovative ideas to take delicious hot drinks to the next level!
